March 8, 1972 – December 3, 2019

Anne Quimby Mathias (nee Quimby) passed away unexpectedly December 3, 2019. She is dearly and truly and completely missed by her husband Michael, their children Connor (partner Daisy), Miles and Henry. She is survived by her loving parents Ron and Dona Quimby, brother Scott (Kelly) parents-in-law Lawrence and Rosann, sister-in-law Molly (Anthony), and sister-in-law Bridget. She is also survived by her great grandmother Rae-Hope Putney, Aunts Ann and Polly, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anne was passionate about the aspirations and dreams of her children, her work in communications and community engagement at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, literature, documentary films, and advocating (with appropriate outrage when necessary) for anyone in need. She was open-minded, fair, joyful, and very, very funny.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 7, at Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church, 5505 W. Lloyd St. in Milwaukee. Visitation from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm and memorial service to follow.
