Entered into Eternal Life on August 6, 2016. Born September 22, 1925, the daughter of George and Irene (nee Conrad) Reidy. Survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward Joseph Mikush; her children Robert (Debbi) Mikush and Marianne (Jeff) Fisher; grandchildren Jaime Mikush and Brigitte Mikush; and great-grandchildren Aedan and Shaun. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Betty was a long-term employee of the State of Wisconsin as well as a parish secretary at St. Rita's Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer of the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin, the club's Color Guard, Milwaukee Irish Fest, Milwaukee Irish Arts, the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center of Wisconsin, Celtic Women International and the Milwaukee County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 15 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (3005 W. Michigan St. in Milwaukee) at 7PM with a gathering at church from 5PM until time of Mass. Inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. The family extends special thanks to the staff at the Village at Manor Park for the care they provided Betty. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center of Wisconsin or the charity of your choice.
