Billy Leroy Spaulding

March 1st 1937 - January 10th 2025

Billy Leroy Spaulding, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. He was born March 1st, 1937 in Donwood, West Virginia, the youngest child of the late Marshall V. and Opal M. (Weese) Spaulding. He married Annette Tatrow on September 12, 1959.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annette; Son Mark Spaulding; Daughter Laura Brzycki; his 5 Brothers Gordon, Cecil, John "Russell", Emory, and Bobby; 2 Sisters, Betty and June; Father in Law Norman E. Tatrow, and Mother in Law Marie E. Tatrow; and many more family and friends.

He is survived by his children Renee Nissen (Greg), of Hubertus, WI, Lisa Betancourt (David) of Brookfield, WI, Brian Spaulding of Milwaukee, WI; Grandchildren Natalie, Alyssa, Brooke, Jasmine, Jason, Sabrina, Sarah, Amber and Nathan; Great Grandchildren Nadia, Cameron, Jaylan, Davian, Amaya, Maliyah, Drew, Memphis, Quincey, Kehlani, and Gracelyn; and Great Great Grandchildren Jovanni and Rosalie. He is also survived by Brother in Law Ron (Joy) Tatrow of Ladysmith, WI, Sisters in Law Maryann (Gary) Hanneman of Elm Grove, WI, and Terry Spaulding of Hixton WI, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Despite captivating many with his talent as an entertainer and musician with his sister June for over 60 years, Billy's unwavering commitment to his family is truly what his legacy is. He was a devoted family man above all else, never wavering in his care and love for everyone he surrounded himself with throughout his life. He was dedicated to passing on his knowledge in theology, music, social interactions, and current events, and anyone who knew Billy can attest to how insightful he was when it came to each of these complex topics. He enjoyed spending his free time tinkering with numerous forms of technology, visiting the casino for slots and bingo, and watching various news; sports; and classic movie programs. He was full of charisma and spread his "B.S." anywhere and everywhere he went, never ceasing to leave the stage. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, fans, and all who knew him.
