There were also many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Diane lived a very full and meaningful life. She shared her love and kindness with everyone who knew her, and the memories we have will be cherished till it is our time to be with her again.
Diane was born on July 5th 1962 in Kearney, Nebraska to Doraldine and Arturo Florez also preceded in death. She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she married Gary Weidner and they held a happy and loving married for 31 years, they raised their children in Cudahy, WI. Diane's passion was her work as an Occupational Therapist. She loved working with the elderly, as she had followed in the footsteps of the greatest woman she had ever known, her friend, mentor, and the great grandmother of her children, June Webb, whom she preceded in death. Diane's love was endless, there wasn't a thing she would do for anyone, she loved with no strings until our Lord had decided it was her time
to come home and her Angel wings were ready.
She taught all of us many things, from riding bikes, to burning cookies. She was our biggest supporter, and the best person to have on your team. She had a heart of gold and a personality full of sass. Though she is not here physically she is still here. She is the wind beneath our wings and she is our hero. It was Diane's wish to be cremated and eventually combined with her husband when he gets his angel wings. Diane loved the sun and was not a big fan of the cold, we will be having a Celebration of Life for her DTBD. It will be in June/July.
A wife, a sister, a mother, and a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you,
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife, not just as a mother.
Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.
