Edward Acevedo passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023. He was with family when he went to be with the Lord Our Father at the age of 55 years. Born in Milwaukee, WI on July 13, 1968. Predeceased by his son Ezekiel Acevedo and his father Victor Acevedo Sr. and survived by his wife Juanita Acevedo. Lovingly remembered by his mother Miriam Acevedo Fermaint, his sons Elias Acevedo and Isaiah Acevedo, his grandson Yuyu Acevedo and his brothers Victor Acevedo Jr., Nelson Acevedo and Vidal Acevedo, his sisters Mary Ann Marti, Lourdes Thomas, Vivian Harper, and Hillary Acevedo.

Edward was a born-again Christian; devoted to God and his family. He was a humble man, down to earth, funny, caring, and thoughtful who loved saying "Amen". He was a loving father and his world revolved around his sons and his family. He shared his positive energy with his family, friends, and neighbors. He is now re-united with his eldest son Ezekiel and his father Victor who welcomes him with open arms.

A visitation will be on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Brett Funeral Home, 2001 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53233 beginning at 11AM with a service at 12:30PM. The burial follows at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2PM. Please meet outside the cemetery office at 7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee, WI 53216 in your vehicles.
