Liza (Elizabeth) Jerusha Krivohlavek Kimball, 65, passed away peacefully in her childhood home of four generations, surrounded by her family on September 25, 2023. She suffered and endured with her indomitable spirit several long months from the pain and agony of ALS.

After graduating from Wauwatosa East in 1976, Liza continued her education at UW-Milwaukee. She was initiated into the Phi Beta Kappa, Eta chapter and received Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and History in 1979. She went on to receive her Master's in Physical Anthropology in 1990. Throughout her life, Liza was always utterly wild and full of fun. Liza's stories and joyful, vibrant laughter would fill a room and inspire smiles and delight from all those around her. She'd talk the ear off of anyone who crossed her path, sharing pieces of her joy and life with all. She was stubborn and vivacious and caring; a dreamer who never stopped living her life as she so chose. Liza held on fiercely to her inner child, finding the fun in any situation, and making fun where she could. Liza's spirit was bright and blinding, and will last long after her passing in all those she touched in life.

Liza was preceded in death by her parents Michael Bischoff (Born Michael Krivohlavek) and mother Elizabeth Jane Bischoff (Kimball) and Grandparents Bryant Kimball and Charlotte Follmer Kimball. She is survived by her Beagle/Mountain Cur dog Madhuri and cat, Dax, along with her two children, Bryant and Chloe, and her husband, of 32 years Mike Biersach, who will carry her spirit along with them, always.
