Transitioned into the hereafter on December 23, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Preceded in death by his father Jerome Sims, brother Jerauld Sims and foster parents Armstead and Roberta Henry. Survived by his mother Veatrice Woolards, brothers Arnold Sims and Jerome Sims, II, sister Dolores Henry and aunts Inez Herzer and Shirley Banks. Also survived by foster siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 2 from 10AM until 2PM with a service at 11AM, the Reverend Elder Lovelace Redmond officiating.
