Died April 30, 2016 at the age of 102 years. Preceded in death by her parents Jose and Matilde Reyes and her beloved husband Americo Serrano as well as her daughters Maria Serrano and Theresa Velasquez and grandson Roberto William Serrano, Jr. Loving mother "mami" of Carmen (the late Roberto) Roman, Delores Velazquez, Anibar (Lupe), Roberto William (Lupe Hernandez), Americo, Jr. (Sonja Rivera) and Vincent Serrano. Further survived by 28 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, many friends in Milwaukee and nieces and nephews in Puerto Rico. Sinda was born and raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and settled in Milwaukee in 1956.

Services will be held in the mansion at Mitchell Manor (5301 W. Lincoln Ave.) in West Allis at 5PM on Thursday, May 5 with a visitation at 3PM until time of service. Entombment will take place at Cementerio La Santa Cruz in Arecibo at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff and patients at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home and Seasons Hospice for their wonderful friendship and care.
