Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the age 58. Preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Sofia Acevedo and brother Carlos. He is survived by his brother Herman (Gail), Angel (Jenny), Danny and sister Minnie and many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 18 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (W. Michigan St. at N. 30 ^th St. in Milwaukee) with a visitation at church from noon until time of Mass. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of  St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI for their incredible care provided to Jose and the entire family with very special thanks to Dr. Daniels and the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice.  The family appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended to us during this time.
