Nouanchanh Srisomphou of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home on January 5th, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Nouanchanh was born October 1, 1947 in Laos. She married Phat Srisomphou on October 11, 1976. To escape communist Laos her family immigrated to the United States on May 31, 1991.  Nouanchanh spent time majority of her life living in Austin, MN.  From 2003 to 2014, she spent time living between Wisconsin and Minnesota with her children.  In 2014, after the loss of her husband, she moved to Wisconsin to stay with daughter Shannon (Thad) until her death.

Survivors include her three children Sourat (Angie) Srisomphou of Austin, MN,  Savivanh (Derrick) Srisomphou of Memphis, TN and Shannon (Thad) Sudthapan of Waukesha, WI.  She has twelve grandchildren, Julie, Nicholas, Andrea, Monolaa, Willy, Benjamin, Matthew, Kwan, Karon, Jadelynn, Maxine, and Sophia.  She has four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Natteeda, Maleeda, and Leilanni.

Nouanchanh enjoyed, foraging for mushrooms, fishing, gardening, watching Thai Lakorn and her betta fish and her beloved dogs and companions Chase and Bear.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 12 beginning at 12PM with a service at 1PM.
