Died at the age of 50 years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Beloved husband of Amy (nee Ircink) McCaffrey, son of Catherine McCaffrey, brother to Cynthia (William) Zahnow, Bryon (Christine) Bohl, and Cheryl Agen. Further survived by nephews, niece, other relatives, friends too numerous to name, and his pet dogs and birds.  P.J. was preceded in death by his father, James Lawrence McCaffrey.

P.J. loved music, especially playing his bass.  He was a born performer and was happiest on stage, whether it was acting in theater, playing loud metal music in bars, or adding some rock sound to the praise bands in church.  His competitive spirit shone through in Taekwondo, gaming, and on the shooting range.  He was passionate about teaching safe firearms handling and wished he'd found his calling earlier in life.

Visitation at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1350 Hwy 175, Hubertus, WI 53033 on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Noon until time of Service at 2:00 pm. Refreshments and fellowship to follow.
