Died Saturday, May 28, 2016. Born February 25, 1950 in Janesville, WI. Preceded in death by his parents William and Alice Tracey, his brother John and sister Mary Beth Tracey. Survived by his wife of 31 years Barbara (nee Petry) Tracey and daughters Clara and Moira Tracey. Brother of Mary Ann McCann, Peter (Sindy) Tracey, Steve (the late Mary) Tracey, David (Janet) Tracey, Robert (the late Michelle) Tracey, Cathy (Tim) Rooney, and Eileen (Carey) Stuckey. Son-in law of Paul and Ramona Petry. Paul is also survived by many other in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends of the St. Michael Church family.

Paul was a teacher, an actor, and a priest. He taught at Pierce School for 19 years and at Milwaukee College Prep School for 6 years. He was an actor in Syracuse, NY and San Francisco. He taught First Communion Preparation classes at St. Michael Church for many years. He also appeared as the dragon in the St. Michael Feast Day celebration and as Pontius Pilate in the annual Palm Sunday drama. He fought Frontotemporal Dementia with everything he had for 5 years.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Michael Church (1445 N. 24th St.) today, Wednesday, June 1 at 11AM with burial at Forest Home Cemetery (2405 W. Forest Home Ave.) following Mass. Please meet at the cemetery office. Immediately following burial, a "St. Michael Potluck" and celebration of Paul's life will be held at the St. Michael Church Hall. Please bring a story about Paul to share, tell, paint or act out. Microphones will be available. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gerostart (www.gerostart.org), the Brain Support Network (www.brainsupportnetwork.org) or St. Michael Parish would be appreciated.
