Passed June 8, 2016 at age 85. To honor Bob's wishes there will be no funeral service, but cremation, followed by a memorial at a later date to celebrate Bob's joyous spirit. His was the embodiment of love. He made new friends everywhere while keeping life-long friendships.

Adored husband for 62 years of Betty Jo. Beloved father to Andrea McLeod and dear "Dad" to Jennifer (Reese) Fuchs. Loving "grandpa" and uncle to many. Dear brother to David (Kathy) and James.

After graduating first in a class of 230 from Great Lakes Naval Training Center, inquisitive Bob studied electrical engineering at Marquette University and economics UW-Milwaukee. After graduation from college he followed his passion for railroading and enjoyed a long career, retiring as an AMTRAK engineer. He also engaged in entrepreneurial activities and RR Clubs.

Thank you dear family, friends and neighbors for your many acts of kindness and special thanks to the staff and volunteer "angels" at the Zilber Family Hospice for their compassionate care of Bob and kind support for his family.
