We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Scott Pagel at the age of 65.

Scott was born on September 10, 1960, to parents Myron "Mike" Pagel and Norma (Endries) Pagel in Milwaukee, WI. He was a proud Badger and graduated with a degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982. He worked in computer programming for over 30 years and retired in early January 2026.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandy (Sparacino) Pagel; his daughter Victoria "Tori" Pagel; and his brother and wife, Todd and Deborah Pagel of Pittsboro, North Carolina.

As a devoted history aficionado, Scott loved volunteering at the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee and visiting historic places across the country with his family. Just like his parents, Scott had a green thumb and tended to a beautiful yard and garden every year. His best memories were spending time with family and friends in Eagle River and various places in up-north Wisconsin with a fishing rod in his hand and his dog nearby.

As per his wishes, private family services were held. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
