(Nee Pintor.) God called her home on October 16, 2018 at the age of 89 years. Sofia was preceded in death by her husband Esteban Acevedo and son Carlos. She is survived by her children Herman (Gail), Angel, Sr. (Jenny), Daniel, Minelba Acevedo and Joe Navarro as well as 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren , other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (3001 W. Michigan St.) in Milwaukee on Saturday, October 27 at 11:30AM with a visitation at church from 9:30AM until time of Mass. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
