Passed away March 20, 2018.  Tom was born November 7, 1942 to Lura and Clifford Parrett in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962 and joined the United States Navy serving in Vietnam as a photographer.  He married in 1969.  Tom was a letter carrier (Singing Mailman) with the United States Postal System from 1969 until he retired in 2006.  Tom served the City of Oak Creek as an Alderman from 1978-1980.  He is survived by his daughter Heidi (Shawn) Stolte, two grandchildren Nathan and Valarie Gilmore, and sister Maggie Blaha as well as sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.  His brothers David and Donald predeceased him.  Mike Stanislawski was a true best friend.  Private services were held.  Inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will take place at a later date.
